Squirrel was abandoned with his twin brother Moose by a passerby. Co-founders, Nate and Anna, took them in to get them cleaned up and help find them a forever home. During their first vet visit, Squirrel's brother Moose tested positive for Feline Leukemia. Unfortunately, FeLV cats are usually not adoptable. Nate and Anna did not want to separate this bonded pair and decided to keep them together on the farm. They later learned that Moose's test was a false positive. This made adoption possible. However, having already realized these two were the best orange and white kittens in the world, Nate and Anna decided Moose and Squirrel were already home on the farm.
Squirrel has become a Sweet Farm favorite and is often seen hanging out with the chicken crew and wandering about the property greeting guests. He has now become the best Sweet Farm docent on the property!
